Mr. Swift is licensed in Oregon, where he has legal experience in both transactional matters and litigation for a wide range of legal practice areas. 

Mr. Swift is originally from Collierville, Tennessee, a small town outside of Memphis. He moved to Corvallis, Oregon, to attend Oregon State University, where he earned a B.A. in Philosophy, and later received his J.D. from Willamette University College of Law.

During law school, Mr. Swift served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Jeffrey S. Jones, gaining hands-on experience with trial court proceedings and judicial decision-making. After his second year of law school, he went on to serve as a summer associate at a boutique litigation firm, where he further developed his research, writing, and advocacy skills.

Immediately following graduation, Mr. Swift spent time practicing at a small business law firm, where he handled a mix of transactional and litigation matters, primarily involving business and employment law. In addition to his legal practice, he is active in the legal community and serves on the Board of Directors for the Bridges Collaborative Care Clinic. He is also a member of the Multnomah Bar Association Young Lawyers Section CLE Committee.

Outside of work, Mr. Swift enjoys hiking, walking his dachshunds, playing basketball at his local gym, and spending time outdoors grilling during the warmer months. He is also a former athlete who maintains a strong interest in sports law and regularly follows and writes about developments in the college sports arena.
